STATEMENT
.....any future advancement in Nationhood should involve an understanding of what history can teach us all on how we treat and react to other cultures that we attempt to assimilate, no matter how guided (or misguided) those attempts may seem. If mistakes were made then lets all acknowledge them, learn from them, and move along - together. It was not my fault either but it remains my conscionable right as an individual to simply say `sorry !'
If we cannot learn the mistakes of history then we are surely condemned to repeat them. ......these proto-type type paintings will depict the wide chasms that still exist between the present Federal government's intransigence and the needs of a new generation to `apologise' and simply say `sorry' for what has gone before and move Australia on into a new age of co operation and understanding. The main painting/s will be executed on bark & canvas prepared surfaces to add to the veracity of these statements......
