This series of paintings became very popular and have appreciated more than any other series of paintings. The larger paintings that depicted South Gippsland towns (seven in all) have all ready been absorbed by the secondary market. ‘Korumburra – CowTown (48”X36”) sold at exhibition in 1975 for $150 was auctioned in Dandenong approx. 5 years ago for $950.00
The next 5 paintings are the only pieces known to be available as they have been in the possession of the artist. Out of some 42 pieces there are only 2 figuratives left and 2 ‘worship-fulls’..left.
