Evelyn ‘The Bird’ – A true one person operated Puppet/Float. It talked , it squawked. And it walked. Operated with a counter weighted head to tail. Approx 3.4 metres long and approx. 2 metres high excluding the tail feathers . It was electronically enabled. To this day I cannot believe that this was destroyed or ‘thrown out’ deliberately as other groups would have been able to use it.
