Model of Moomba Festival Float (See ‘Karmai pages’) ‘KarBURRAmai – the giant Blowfly. Korumburra means ‘Blowfly’ and this ‘baby’ had a 48 foot wingspan (about 16 metres) As the wings were mounted on a pivot depending on the space the wings could ‘fold’ back to the thickness of the body (approx. 2mts) Moomba Festival Board for the ‘Shire of Korumburra’
